Learn 2 Earn

Our “Learn 2 Earn” program provides young people with the opportunity to earn income while gaining valuable job skills. Currently, several of our mentees are employed by Oval Cleaning Services and are also learning construction and renovation skills. We collaborate with small businesses to place our mentees in internship positions. Through the G.R.O.W. Program, we cover the cost of payroll, allowing our partners to benefit from dedicated interns at no cost.

Our goal is to achieve successful outcomes during the internship period, with the hope that these experiences may lead to long-term employment opportunities. Participants in our program not only earn money but also develop essential job readiness and independent living skills, including budgeting, saving, and financial literacy—all in real time.

Many of the youth we serve come from challenging environments, with some previously engaged in squeegeeing or other forms of street hustling. We recognize that asking a young person to walk away from activities that provide daily sustenance may not be effective unless we offer a better alternative. Our social economic business model aims to do just that—providing a pathway to stability, building self-esteem, and fostering the development of lifelong independent living skills.
